Accelerating academic achievement of English Learners through the discovery of effective research-based practices for reaching and teaching English Learners to support, enhance, and enrich core instruction. Educators will gain knowledge on how to design lessons that focus on what ELs “Can Do” in order to implement practical strategies for teaching all content while strengthening ELs academic vocabulary, reading, writing, listening, speaking, and thinking skills. This professional learning is geared to close achievement gaps and give ELs tools and strategies for success.
